Through a series of exciting talks, Oxford researchers will reveal how microscopy enables us to explore worlds normally invisible to the naked eye, from intricate biological structures to unexpected patterns and forms. Afterwards, wander through a mini exhibition of stunning microscopy images and see how cutting-edge science meets art.

Perfect for curious minds aged 12+* and adults alike - with refreshments and snacks provided. Come along and discover just how extraordinary the smallest things can be!

Hosted in collaboration with the Institute for Developmental & Regenerative Medicine, University of Oxford and supported by the J. W. Jenkinson Memorial Fund.

This event is particularly suitable for secondary school and sixth-form students who are curious about science and keen to explore the fascinating world of microscopy. Whether you are already interested in biology, physics or other STEM subjects, or simply want to discover something new, this is a great opportunity to gain insights into how scientists use microscopes to investigate the world around us.
